“Project Wrench” is a game design/programming project that initially started with a colleague contracting me to make character models for a project of their own. I later took the project on myself, creating the code from scratch in Unity.
The game is a third person shooter/platformer inspired by games of the same genre on the PlayStation 2. It is designed around levels with a variety of gameplay and environments featuring powerful weapons and puzzles.
The initial assets created were done in a style made to emulate the limitations of a PS2 game, but eventually the project changed to feature a more modern PBR art asset pipeline.
